**Essential Responsibilities:**

 

GE Grid Solutions LLC seeks a Senior Sales and Proposal Staff Manager to develop and execute a growth strategy for Power Transformer (PTR) product sales to target markets including Independent Owned Utilities (IOU’s), Public Power, and Industrial accounts. Accountable for meeting or exceeding the orders, sales, and margin plan. Manage a team of PTR Product Sales Specialists. Lead the channel optimization, pricing, and negotiation activities. Build and maintain relationships with sales force to drive market share growth. Work directly with customers to influence PTR specifications and close blankets and spot buys. Lead resolution development efforts to best address customer needs. Assist in partner marketing activities such as tradeshows and other promotional events. Manage expenses of team within budget.

 

 

 

**Qualifications/Requirements:**

 

Bachelor's degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Engineering (any field) and 5 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor’s degree related experience in the Commercial, Industrial or Power Transmission & Distribution industries. Position also requires 5 years of experience in sales, marketing or application sales; management of sales professionals; and power transformer design, performance, manufacturing testing, and maintenance. Position requires 70% travel to customer locations and company’s factories in North America, Mexico, Brazil, China and Europe. Telecommuting is permitted.
