Orphan Outreach is a Christ-centered nonprofit dedicated to providing holistic care, education, and sustainable support for orphans and vulnerable children worldwide. Guided by biblical principles, we partner with local communities, churches, and organizations to transform lives through faith, love, and practical support.
The Digital Marketing & Design Coordinator is responsible for curating, producing, and managing the brand story of Orphan Outreach on all digital platforms. Their primary responsibilities will include growing Orphan Outreach’s presence on social media and ensuring Orphan Outreach website content remains relevant and timely. This person also provides digital design content to share the Orphan Outreach story and impact with supporters, donors, and ministry partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:
Digital Marketing Production
- Collaborate with Orphan Outreach marketing team and other departments to monitor and assess long-term goals and objectives, providing creative marketing & communications solutions that best meet those goals and objectives.
- Create and execute strong social media plans for Orphan Outreach
- Create and manage editorial calendars for Orphan Outreach across all digital platforms used by the organization.
- Develop, curate, produce, and schedule engaging content for social media, including use of still images and captions, produced video and live formats (both story and interview-driven)
- Attend special events and produce timely, live social media content.
- Monitor industry trends and test the effectiveness of new digital platforms for Orphan Outreach and Orphan Outreach Marketplace.
- Manage freelance relationships with writers for digital content as assigned.
Website Content Management
- Maintain the Orphan Outreach website by reviewing, updating and writing and/or curating new content for the website on a regular basis.
- Manage the Non-profit Megaphone and Google Ad grant relationship to improve website content and create or refine content based on recommended google ad content.
- Coordinate assets for digital marketing packages to share with partnering churches, radio stations and donors to share the Orphan Outreach story.
- Assist production of digital content for website, social media, and events as needed.
- Manage and maintain digital assets for use by all Orphan Outreach departments as needed.
- Provide support for email communication for major campaigns and fundraisers as needed.
Digital Graphic Design
- Coordinate digital design elements for Orphan Outreach and Orphan Outreach Marketplace events, including pre-event materials, promotions, electronic invitations, on-site signage, and web-based experience
- Coordinate digital design elements for the organization’s development efforts, including donor impact reports and other donor relation assets
- Provide digital design support for organization’s sponsorship, missions, and operations departments
Other duties
- Represent Orphan Outreach at industry functions and ministry functions.
- Manage internal and external marketing relationships as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirement

Requirements
- Must be a committed Christian; adhere to Christian principles and values. Involved in local church and understands the role and value of the church as advocates for orphans.
- Requires a basic understanding of a comprehensive field of knowledge. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

- Requires ability to work under pressure and remain flexible as priorities change; ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
- Requires ability to work under minimal supervision; must be self-motivated and able to motivate others; ability to exercise excellent professional judgment and maintain confidentiality.

Skills and Proficiencies
- Must speak, read, and write English proficiently.
- High Level of proficiency in print production and digital design as well as responsive web design.
- High Level of proficiency in Adobe Creative Suites (Specifically using Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat)
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Software.
- High level of proficiency in Apple Environment.
- Must have a minimal understanding and awareness of CSS for updating web pages and designing web banners.
