Office Administrator / Customer Service (Part-time) (Retirees welcome)

The tasks of the office administrator (part-time) will include some basic bookkeeping, data entry/processing and filing of different paperwork. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing, good with details, and stay organized.

- Enter orders/sales data into Quickbooks before/after orders get shipped, and bill customers.

- Sort, verify and process bills from vendors for record keeping.

- Perform other bookkeeping procedures and file the paper records / e-documents accordingly.

- Provide assistance to the Accounting Manager and Customer Account Manager when needed.

- Help with customer serivce and communications (phone calls, e-mails, letters, small packages etc.) at times.

- May need to assist the owner and other team members at times.

- Two days (Tuesday, Wednesday) every week, with possible extra days when needed/available. 

- Flexible hours but between 8:00/8:30 AM - 2:00/3:00/4:00 PM is preferrd.

- Training will be provided. 

- Paid federal holidays after 3 months; Paid vacations after 12 months. Plus bonuses.

Requirement

• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and good attention on details.
• Familiarity with office work procedures and basic accounting/business principles.
• Solid knowledge of MS Word, Excel and basic business writing (e-mails, Letters, etc.).
• Experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role (Preferred).
• Experience with QuickBooks is a big plus.
• Training on Quickbooks software will be provided for the right candidate.
• High school diploma, some college education and/or business related experience is required.
