Carer, in-home

Description

I need two days of in-home care for my special needs son, Michael. He needs (mostly) complete care, including diaper changes and feeding and dressing. He is mobile, though, and moves around quite well. You'd be working for me, I'm a single mother of five children, two of whom are special needs. I need carers while I'm working, but the grant I was blessed to be given has enough in it to cover some of my days off as well so I use the time for yard work and other chores and errands. You would be joining a team, my full-time carer and another part-time carer, and they have directed me to tell you that Michael, while the tasks surrounding him may seem like a lot, is a hoot to be around and communicates perfectly well for a non-verbal person. He is 23, though very small for his age, and due to the brain damage (a congenital seizure condition), is mentally toddler-like. He likes car rides and all the treats he can wheedle out of us!
