Landscaper - Gwinnett County Public Schools

Description

1.        Responsible for performing landscape maintenance tasks at school campuses, including mowing of school lawns & playgrounds.  a.          Prune plant material and mulch planting beds.    b.          Maintain school campuses in a safe and attractive manner.  c.          Assist the Head Groundskeeper with planning and directing contractors.  2.        Perform first echelon operator maintenance on landscape equipment and vehicles.  3.        Assist the Head Groundskeeper in the completion of Work Order Reports and other required record keeping.  4.        Demonstrate knowledge of grounds keeping hazards and safety procedures.  5.        Work cooperatively with other members of the Grounds Maintenance Department and supervision of contracted services  6.         Cooperate with and maintain a positive relationship with all other district employees.  7.        Perform other duties as assigned   

Requirement

Qualified applicants must hold a High School Diploma or GED and a valid driver's license.
