What you will do:

• Research the latest trends, issues and solutions across the financial and wellness industries

• Pitch content ideas for articles, infographics, and other communications

• Outline and write content for potential GuideStone publication

• Assist with content marketing strategy

• Assist with internal communications and executive communication efforts

• Compare content created by other church/denominational benefit boards to similar content created by GuideStone

• Exercise project management skills through Workfront software

• Shadow other roles in marketing, customer solutions, operations, line of business strategy, etc.

• Learn copywriting skills and GuideStone Writing Standards

• Other duties as assigned
   

What you will need:

• Must be an incoming Junior or Senior level

• Must be a current student throughout the duration of the intern program

• Degree concentration in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or Public Relations preferred

• Minimum 3.0 GPA

• Self-starter with initiative and integrity

• Proficient PC skills

• Strong ability to multi-task

• Detail oriented

• Strong work ethic and efficiency

• Strong writing skills
